Approximately 76klm round trip.
Even though Newcastle is not far from us, it is always still a very enjoyable ride, particularly now that the Hunter Expressway is up and running. The beaches in the Newcastle region are simply spectacular, there is no other word to describe them. Of course Newcastle itself is still such a beautiful city with old architectural buildings that have a historic touch to them. There are plenty of places to eat, sight-seeing, galleries, museums, and beautiful parks. If you were to go to Newcastle and struggled to find something to do, then you must be very hard to please 🙂
