Wivenhoe Dam is simply beautiful and it makes no difference whether you are there in the Summer or the Winter. If it’s peace and quiet you’re after, then Winter is preferable because due to it’s popularity, the dam is a hive of activity during the warmer weather. The ride around the dam is a truly enjoyable experience.
